On 25, 26, 27 August 2022, Mr Phung Anh Tuan, the managing partner of VCI Legal LLP, along with other associates of VCI Legal LLP, will be attending and giving a lecture on the role of mediation in the Investor-State Dispute Resolution mechanism (ISDS).

This lecture will be part of Vietnam Mediation Centre (VMC)’s training course on “Dispute resolution skills by mediation” for enterprises. The lecture will be held hybrid, online and at 171 Vo Thi Sau, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City, from 8:30AM to 11:30 AM on 25, 26, 27 August 2022.

The main points to be covered are:

• Introduction of ISDS;
• The role of mediation in ISDS;
• The general procedures for mediation in ISDS; and
• Case study of ISDS mediation.

The lecture is promised to bring more familiarity to the community and enterprises with the practice of ISDS in general, and ISDS mediation in particular.
