Senior Counsel – Director – Partner:

Type of work: Full-Time, Permanent
Education Required: Bachelor Degree, Bar Admission or a Lawyer Training Certificate
Monthly Salary and Bonus Range $3000 – 8,000 (salary + benefits + profit sharing + equity)
Years of Experience Required Minimum of ten years experience
Location: Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi

General Requirements:

• All candidates must have a law degree with high class-ranking from an accredited law school (plus a business related degree would be ideal)
• Fluency in spoken English, plus strong writing ability
• Possess or capable of developing the skills and competencies necessary to become highly-qualified professional service provider
• A degree in law from an accredited university and a bar admission
• A minimum of three years experience practicing law
• Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
• A business-oriented mindset
• Experience working for a foreign law firm is preferred.
• A team player possession professional discipline
• A strong sense of responsibility, self-confidence and integrity
• Highly motivated
• Strong reasoning and analytical skills

Job Description: Successful candidates should be expatriates or licensed Vietnamese lawyers whose responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

• Establishing and maintaining contact with clients to identify and understand their commercial objectives and legal requirements
• Provide and implement legal solutions related to finance and business
• Prepare and provide legal advice in response to clients’ queries
• Represent clients in negotiations
• Conduct research and analysis of information and legal documents
• Oversee and train junior lawyers

Job Specifications:

• Qualified or licensed  to practice in Vietnam
• Management experience is essential
• Business-oriented, independent-minded, with the ability to analyze risk in reviewing business transactions
• Strong sense of responsibility, self confidence, cautious, highly motivated, and good communication skills
• Excellent research skills
• Foreign language: excellent command of written and spoken English;
• 7-9 years or more for Senior Counsel & Director, 10 years or more for Partner  experience in a similar and/or related field
