VCI LEGAL is proud to announce that our Special Counsel, Mr David (Seungmok) Oh, has been appointed as Legal Advisor for the Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the South and Middle of Vietnam, also known as Kocham, for the term of 2021-2026.

Mr. Oh brings on board more than 20 years of extensive experience in the legal field of corporate, investment, M&A and dispute resolution for corporate and individual clients in a variety of industries around the world, primarily through his work in South Korea, Australia and Vietnam. He has advised and represented many foreign investors doing their businesses in Vietnam, especially for their disputes against various government agencies.
Mr Oh is a frequent lecturer, a member of numerous community and professional organizations. Mr. Oh earned his Bachelor of Law degree from the Pusan National University, South Korea and also is an honored graduate of the University of Tasmania, Hobart, Tasmania, Australia.

Currently, Mr Oh is leading the dispute resolution team at VCI Legal law firm with the firm’s special expertise the area of Investor-State Dispute Settlement (ISDS).

From the legal field perspective, Mr Oh brings to Kocham both a broad, practical experience with a variety of public and private companies, and in-depth expertise in legal regulations and procedures. He is highly respected in his field, promising to contribute greatly to the Korean community in Vietnam in particular and a healthy, effective business environment in general, meeting Kocham’s strategic goals.
