Mathieu Abdoul-Quinque
Prior to joining VCI Legal, Mathieu was an associate at ARCHE LAW FIRM (Paris), a firm dedicated to the advice of subsidiaries of major Korean groups in France. He also worked for the subsidiary of the law firm DEHENG (China) based in Paris advising this time an international Chinese clientele.
Through his various experiences, Mathieu has advised large groups as well as medium-sized companies in the context of cross-border investments or in complex litigation before the French courts or before arbitration courts. Some of the major cases in which Mathieu was engaged are as follows:
- He represented a Korean consulting firm in an arbitration dispute against a major French CAC 40 group in the context of the KSS military project in South Korea (project to build 27 combat submarines between 1994 and 2029);
- He represented a major Korean group in a case against a French company following numerous unpaid claims related to the construction of a new subway line in Singapore;
- He represented a Chinese investor in France who owns several wine companies following the seizure of his assets in France following an injunction to freeze his assets from HongKong;
For VCI LEGAL, Mathieu now advises international clients on their investments in Vietnam. He assists investors in the choice of the company, in the first actions to start their activities and in drafting the various contracts allowing to frame their investments.
