On 14 October 2025, the Government promulgated Decree No. 268/2025/ND-CP (“Decree 268”) to implement several provisions of the Law on Science, Technology and Innovation concerning innovation programs and activities, science and technology enterprises, and start-up individuals and enterprises. Decree 268 came into force on the date of its issuance and replaced Decree No. 13/2019/ND-CP dated 1 February 2019. The following highlights some of the principal features of Decree 268.

Effective 18 December 2025, Decree 324/2025/ND-CP establishes comprehensive financial policies for Vietnam’s International Financial Center (IFC), including significant corporate and personal income tax incentives and the permission to use international accounting standards. The Decree also sets forth specific licensing rules for securities, insurance, and equity crowdfunding platforms, alongside a 'sandbox' mechanism for fintech innovation.

Ngày 10 tháng 11 năm 2025, Chính phủ đã ban hành Nghị định số 293/2025/NĐ-CP (“Nghị định 293”), quy định mức lương tối thiểu áp dụng đối với người lao động làm việc theo hợp đồng lao động. Nghị định mới này sẽ có hiệu lực từ ngày 1 tháng 1 năm 2026 và thay thế quy định trước đây tại Nghị định số 74/2024/NĐ-CP ngày 30 tháng 6 năm 2024. Việc ban hành Nghị định 293 thể hiện nỗ lực liên tục của Chính phủ trong việc điều chỉnh mức lương phù hợp với sự phát triển kinh tế, lạm phát và chi phí sinh hoạt, qua đó bảo đảm mức thù lao công bằng cho người lao động trên các vùng miền khác nhau của Việt Nam.

This article highlights the key and noteworthy provisions of the 2025 Law on Atomic Energy.

Government of Vietnam issued Decree No. 329/2025/ND-CP, providing regulations on foreign exchange management, anti-money laundering (AML), counter-terrorism financing (CTF), and counter-proliferation financing within the International Financial Centre (IFC) of Vietnam. This Decree establishes a specialised financial-security and monetary regulatory framework, aligned with international standards, governing banking operations and cross-border financial transactions conducted within the IFC.

Đây là văn bản then chốt nhằm thiết lập hành lang an toàn tài chính – tiền tệ đặc thù, phù hợp với chuẩn mực quốc tế, cho các hoạt động ngân hàng và giao dịch tài chính xuyên biên giới tại Trung tâm.

The Government of Vietnam has just issued Decree No. 327/2025/ND-CP, regulating entry, exit and residence policies for foreigners working at the International Financial Center in Vietnam. This Decree establishes a separate, flexible and preferential legal mechanism to attract strategic investors, experts, managers and high-quality human resources to participate in long-term operations at the International Financial Center.

Nghị định này thiết lập cơ chế pháp lý riêng, linh hoạt và ưu tiên, nhằm thu hút nhà đầu tư chiến lược, chuyên gia, nhà quản lý và nhân lực chất lượng cao tham gia hoạt động lâu dài tại Trung tâm Tài chính Quốc tế.

Chính phủ Việt Nam vừa ban hành Nghị định số 326/2025/NĐ-CP, quy định về đất đai và môi trường áp dụng riêng cho Trung tâm Tài chính Quốc tế tại Việt Nam, tạo nền tảng pháp lý quan trọng nhằm thu hút doanh nghiệp và nhà đầu tư nước ngoài.
